Health Care
We are committed to assisting economic disadvantaged women in basic health care with conditions during pregnancy with malaria and also fibroids.
Promises Kept is also looking to invest in projects aimed at impacting the lives of Africans- improving the health situation of mothers and children, especially the under-privileged. Our goal is to find lasting solutions to health challenges by establishing strong, sustainable, community-based health care systems, and by providing communities with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to combat disease and alleviate poverty. Knowledge gained in our work is used to advocate with governments and international organizations for scale-up of successful initiatives and adoption of effective policies and practice.
We champion women, who are at the heart of their families’ and communities’ health, and children because we believe that by focusing on these two vulnerable groups, we can improve the lives and health status of families and communities. We engage men in programs to benefit and empower women and children for health improvement.
Additionally, Promises Kept seeks to help provide access to diagnosis, treatment and medication for the many health problems and diseases that are prevalent amongst the economically disadvantaged. The Foundation has already begun by by helping sickle cell patients and forming alliances and patnership with other similarly minded organization to address the issues that such patients encounter.
